Four Mile Lagoon is on the northern Belizean border and just 20 minutes away by boat from the large Mexican city of Chetumal, often called the gateway to Belize.  In Chetumal you will find a modern hospital and an international airport.  It is the capital of the state of Quintana Roo and borders on lovely Chetumal Bay. This city is just seven miles north of the Belizean border. The Chetumal area offers an exceptionally wide diversity of activities.
